The University of Virginia is now accepting online applications for the position of Curator of the Indigenous Arts of Australia at the Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection. This is a new position funded by a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation in partnership with the College of Arts and Sciences and the Office of the Provost at UVa. The grant provides funding for the Kluge-Ruhe Collection and The Fralin Museum of Art at UVA to hire two curators for the University’s extensive collections of Indigenous Australian and Native American/Pre-Columbian art and to support a new residency program for visiting scholars, artists and curators.
